Meet Rachel Mouse ....

Last Saturday we had a lovely day felting here at the workshop creating needle felted mice. Here is my finished result! My girls decided to call her Rachel ...

They also changed the name of the other two mice to Ruby and Rupert ...

So now Rupert, Ruby and Rachel sit on the window sill in the workshop watching the crafters come and go hoping that someone will drop a few biscuit crumbs - what a life!

Thanks for coming ladies, hope you had a nice day!
Bye for now

How lovely! ...

Recently I came across a lovely facebook page and Folksy shop belonging to the very talented suezybees.  I fell in love with all of the items instantly and just had to get one for my daughter who had a  mobile phone for Christmas.  We took ages to make up our mind but in the end we decided on this little blue and pink bird.

It arrived over the weekend and looks even better in the flesh.  The attention to detail with the stitching is second to none and my daughter is thrilled with it!  Now the question is ... even though I don't have a mobile phone what excuse can I think of to get myself one - Hmm!??

If you haven't come across Suezybees yet, take a look at her shop, it brings a whole new meaning to the phrase 'retail therapy'!

Early Valentines pressie ...

Yesterday my  lovely Mr P. asked me if I wanted my Valentines pressie early this year.  He knows that I am terrible at waiting for surprises or indeed keeping them so of course I said yes please!

Look what he had for me ...

They could not have come at a better time as both my old bag and purse broke recently!

All I can say is that I love, love love them!

Thank you Mr P xxx

My Parcel arrived!

Do you remember me telling you that my little Valentines presents for the girls was in the post?  Well it arrived over the weekend!

I had ordered them a personalised mirror each from Snapdragon.  They arrived on Saturday and so I had to do my best to hide them from the girls.  Amy has already asked what is in the 'big green envelope'?

Each mirror is absolutely beautiful and comes with a little pocket stitched with the girls names on so that they know who's is who's.  I plan on giving Mia the cupcake and Amy the dog so I hope there are no arguments on the day!

I ordered some party invitations as well for Amy's birthday party on the 3rd March but I have already written these and Amy has delivered them to her friends at school so I don't have any left to show you.

If you are not familiar with Snapdragon's website then it is definitely worth a look!

Now all I have to do is wrap them and hide them along with Mr. P's pressie until the special day!

Valentines day planning

One of my New Year's Resolutions this year was to make sure that I was better prepared and to keep on top of my 'To Do List' if I could!  Well I can't claim to have been completely successful with this resolution (a work in progress I think!) but I have made sure that I am have everything planned for Valentines Day which is fast approaching!

Here are a couple of little cards that I made for the girls!

I have their pressies on the way in the post and I will show you them when they arrive.  I have also made Mr P's card and have his present here already but of course I can't show you this because I know that he reads my Blog!

Now all I have to do is get some choccies for the 3 of them and make sure I have everything ready for a lovely strawberry pancake breakfast on the 14th!

I hope your plans are coming along!
